In the "light" of other matters across the globe, my post yesterday feels falsely optimistic. Please check out friend Peter´s blog about the daily challenges he witnesses in Jerusalem - especially on our own election day. We all need to keep ourselves informed (at least I do!). It is so easy to sit from a comfortable distance and believe that we aren´t qualified to make changes. But we have to try!! Here´s to hoping that my words here can be more than just "talk," and that by keeping connections like Peter´s we can stay informed, interested, concerned, and most importantly - involved.
